What is PSYCH-K®?

PSYCH-K® is a simple, effective and proven process designed to transform the subconscious beliefs and thinking patterns that are holding you back from reaching your desires. It’s a process originated by Robert M. Williams, M.A. that uses left and right brain integration techniques to create a more relaxed ‘Whole-Brain’ state around your desired belief or situation. As a result, it’s easier for you to take actions that support your desired belief without stress nor self-sabotage and see a noticeable change in your work or life.

PSYCH-K® empowers us to align our subconscious beliefs and programs with our conscious desires and goals, whether they’re around our relationships, money, health, abundance, career, business, self-esteem, personal power and growth.

Brain mapping research shows that PSYCH-K® produces an objective and radical change in brain activity, creating a ‘Whole Brain State’ where there’s greater communication and flow between the two brain hemispheres.

PSYCH-K® is relatively quick and greatly effective because it works directly with the subconscious, which is around 95% of our brain activity and consequently drives the majority of our decisions, actions, behaviours as well as our emotions. Our subconscious belief programs lie behind why we might not be able to make a new habit stick or follow through on our intentions, no matter how hard we try, especially when it’s signalling that something’s unsafe to your nervous system. It can be really hard to reason and logic our way through a deep unconscious belief program and the body’s stress response. PSYCH-K® gives us the opportunity to work with and rewrite the belief programs that underpin our conscious decisions, actions and behaviours.

And you don’t need to go into a trance nor hypnotic state to affect change at the subconscious level. You’re totally awake, conscious and aware throughout the whole PSYCH-K® balance. Hello!
I love supporting big-hearted and sensitive souls to reconnect with their inner wisdom and transform their negative self-talk and unhelpful habits, so that they can treat themselves with more kindness and care. By doing this, it creates a positive ripple effect onto the rest of their lives, work and community.

I have learnt the hard way that we can only punish and push ourselves so far. It’s not sustainable and it has detrimental consequences on our health, wellbeing, and relationships. It also does not make for a happy life.

No matter what I achieved, nothing was ever good enough. I kept shifting the goal posts on myself, demanding more. My self-talk ticker tape was on constant repeat that I should be doing more, doing better, and that I wasn’t good enough. After a series of major life events, I got tired of living and working this way.

I now use a kinder and gentler approach to my life and in getting things done. I’m clearer about my intentions and what I want. I don’t rely on taking action for the sake of it. I work on my mindset, thought patterns and underlying beliefs, especially when I encounter a roadblock or challenge. I also trust my own body and energy levels to guide me about what to do next. Because funnily enough when I do things that I enjoy and make me feel better, I do better. Self-care is not just something that I pay lip service to any more (especially after the recent years we’ve had). I have learnt that when I fill up my tank, feel better and talk more positively to myself, I have more to give to my business, my clients and others.

What I love about PSYCH-K® is that it meets you wherever you are. Life has a way of bringing up things to work on whenever we’re ready. PSYCH-K® is a really gentle and non-evasive process to work through stressful situations and the unhelpful beliefs that are often running the show and undermining what we really want.

PSYCH-K® is a done “with you” not “to you” process. Yes, I know how to facilitate a PSYCH-K® balance, but it’s you that’s running the show. You get to decide what we work on and which path we’ll take out of the three approaches mentioned above. The PSYCH-K® process also has in-built permission protocols where we check in with your Superconsciousness* to make sure that everything is safe and appropriate in the bigger scheme of your life.

In March 2022, I upgraded my certifications by completing the PSYCH-K® Master Facilitation training and have now become a PSYCH-K® Preferred Facilitator. How long does it take to create change?

A full PSYCH-K® session is typically around an hour and contains more than one balance about an issue. One PSYCH-K® balance can transform stress around a particular issue within minutes. It can be surprising to discover how differently you can feel about an issue or situation after a just one balance. In some cases, it’s hard to even fully recall the initial stressful situation.

One PSYCH-K® session helps you create momentum and change around an issue. The balance transforms the stress and makes it easier to take action. It’s the action part that then proves the ‘truth’ of the new belief to the conscious brain and strengthens the new thought patterns around it.

You may need more than one session to work through more complex and deep seated issues such as self-worth, money beliefs and other ingrained behaviours. Our subconscious beliefs are like spider webs where different beliefs underpin and relate to a myriad of issues. PSYCH-K® sessions can be like detective work as we unravel the beliefs associated with an issue as we find and transform the underlying root cause. Time between sessions enables us to take action, create and strengthen new neural pathways, build momentum and then see if anything else arises. Our lives are a constant state of evolution.
