The key question you need to ask first to get more successful meetings. www.innercreative.com.au

During the 1hr session, I will lead you through a series of creative exercises to help clarify what’s important to you and discover a way forward. By the end of the session, you’ll have uncovered some insights and know what steps to take next.

What is so unique about my coaching approach?

The session incorporates the LEGO® Serious Play methodology. Yes! You read right! I’ve found a way to bring my LEGO® Serious Play certification that I’ve previously used with groups in workplaces and community engagement into a virtual and one-on-one experience. It’s a really fun and engaging way to get insight into an issue. Just note that because the session is online, you need to supply a small amount of your own LEGO®*. Please let me know if this is an issue and we can find you a solution.

Why use LEGO®?

LEGO®’s colourful, tactile and playful nature stimulates our imagination and more solution-oriented thinking.

The benefits of using LEGO®:

  • Whenever we use colour, imagery and metaphor, it taps into our right-brained thinking, which is more big picture and expansive in thinking.
  • If you’re a visual or tactile/kinaesthetic thinkers it plays to your thinking strengths
  • Building something with one’s hands often unlocks knowledge and insights that were previously unexpressed
  • It’s more engaging and fun, so you’re more likely to be relaxed and open to seeing other possibilities and solutions.

What can I help you with during the session?

  • You’re feeling overworked, overwhelmed or unmotivated
  • You’re feeling stuck or find yourself procrastinating on tasks without understanding why
  • You’re not working to your strengths
  • Your work habits or processes need find turning
  • You need clarity in your vision, overall direction or sense of purpose
  • You don’t feel that you’re being consistent with your values
  • You want to bring a little more kindness and self-compassion into your work life

What else is included in the session?

I like to make sure that when you finish the session that you have a practical set of steps that you can take towards your goal. But sometimes with all of the good intentions in the world, we can still lose the positive momentum of the support we’ve gained.

So, after the session I intuitively pick you a Mandala Inspiration or Heart Drawing and message that you’ll subsequently receive as a postcard. You can then use this as a touchstone and reminder going forward to help keep you on track and build more momentum.

Do I need to prepare anything for the session?

Because the LEGO® Serious Play session is online, you will need to supply your own LEGO®. But please don’t stress. You don’t need a lot of LEGO® to get value out of the process. You only need around a small ice-cream container size of at least 20 general pieces and ideally 1 mini-figure (although this figure is not mandatory). A baseplate is also helpful, but not essential if you have a flat surface to build on. Please let me know if this is an issue and we can find you a solution. For instance, some clients have bought a small Classic set or borrowed some LEGO® from a neighbour. Alternatively, you can opt to use coloured markers or pencils with paper. We’ll find a solution that works for you.
