Why the world needs you to share your gifts right now

Inner Creative Blog- Why the world needs you to share your gifts right now

Last week I was called to make some art.

My heart was weary and I had a mild case of hay fever. So I decided to slow down and tune into my intuition as to what to do next. I got out my sponges and broom, put on an uplifting podcast and started to clean my house. The outer chaos started to feel clean and more spacious, and not surprisingly I was able to hear a small voice inside of me. It started to whisper, “make some art”. Continue reading

Mandala Inspiration – ‘Breathe’ for the Solar Plexus

Welcome to this week’s Mandala Inspiration called “Breathe”.

This mandala is another inspired by the chakra energy series – the Solar Plexus Chakra in particular. This chakra is located around the navel and is associated with our physical and emotional centre. When in balance the solar plexus allows us to act with integrity and confidence. This chakra is said to energise us with a source of purpose, drive and motivation.

Mandala Inspiration – You are a Treasure.

Welcome to this week’s Inspiration Mandala titled “You are a Treasure”.

It’s a little different to my usual approach. This week I have two new mandalas to share!

They are both based on the same colouring page template that I created for the Christmas inspired mandala. The main difference is the colour palette. And it is amazing to see the different feelings that they evoke.

What does creativity really give you?

Creativity is within all of us.

It’s in how we express ourselves, our ideas and how we do things. We use our creativity when we pick out what to wear in the morning, what we use our lunch break, how we talk with our colleagues or friends, and solve any issues that arise.

The problem is not that we don’t have creativity. It’s that we mightn’t be used to tapping into it, and if we do we mightn’t have the confidence to truly express ourselves or our ideas.
